Sun Burns and Hair cuts...

So this past weekend was fun. Friday and Saturday I did a little shopping for myself for the first time in a long time! I got some new clothes and some new shoes! Which is always a good thing! Then Saturday afternoon I tried to teach Tom how to swim since he never learned! HAHA! That was a task! He could not float to save his life! We worked on it forever and he would start to float a little and then he would sink. At least now he can semi doggie paddle! We were only out in the pool for about two hours and Tom and I both got pretty bad sunburns on our shoulders. So we didn't go back in on Sunday like we had originally planned on doing.





Sunday I went and got a hair cut! For the first time since OCTOBER!!!! I know it's CRAZY! But every time I would make an appointment I would have to cancel because something would come up or I would get a bill I forgot about and it just kept getting put off! I also haven't colored my hair since then and have decided that i wasn't going to color my hair any more! I'm pretty sure all my hair has grown back in, in my natural color and I have no more dye in it! Please pay no attention to my messy desk in the background...

After I got my hair cut Tom and I went to the movies and saw Kung Fu Panda! Tom didn't want to see it but I did so he went for me! It was funny and really cute! I was looking for some of my friends to say Hi when I went to the movies but I didn't see any! There are so many new people there!

Anyways, all in all it was a good weekend! I really needed this!

This too shall pass...Right?

It's been a long weekend! First Friday night with the girls...Our last all together before Angela leaves us to move to Oregon! It makes me VERY sad! I know I will still be able to talk to her all the time but it's just going to be weird not having her close and being able to see each other when ever we wanted. We've been friends since we were 5 and she's my best friend so her leaving is really hard on me even if I don't show it. I know she's having a hard enough time with it without me adding to it and telling her how much I am truly going to miss her...

Then Saturday Angela and I went and got a storage unit together instead of keeping our own and it ended up saving us like 40 bucks a month!!!! That's like 3/4 a tank of gas! Woo hoo! So that was nice! Then that day i spent with my family and we all went to Daves Famous BBQ over in Long Beach and it was sooooooooo good!!!

Sunday Tom and I went to my parents house for a BBQ and we all went in the pool and it was fun, the my mom kicked my ass in Scrabble. It's ok though I killed her last time we played. Then I had to say goodbye to my grandparents because they are going back home to Arkansas. I wish i could go with them. I hate saying goodbye to them and I always cry, it's so hard.

I'm still getting over this sickness and it's driving me crazy! It's been over a week already and now Tom is getting it! Which totally sucks because when he gets what I have I usually get it back before the cycle is broken! ANNOYING!

Things are still CRAPPY on the home front and I am ready for some relief! Some things just seem like they are never going to get better and I keep think this has to pass sometime, right? It has just gone on for FAR to long and it needs to get better.

If you haven't heard, Tom and I have post poned our wedding...VERY SAD and ANNOYING! WE are going to try and have it on April 24, 2010 now. MONEY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!
